Cleanup Working Bee

We will be onsite from 9am until lunch time.
All hands and deck please and come prepared to do one of the jobs on the list below. Our goal for the morning is to clean up the toilets and storage sheds so the site is usable.

The Capalaba Rotary club will be running Book Fest on the site on the May long weekend and they would like to use the covered area and toilets.

All of the proceeds from the Book Fest will be coming to the Group to assist with rebuilding our hall! 

Come on down and help us knock a few jobs off the list!.  This is a great opportunity to get to know some of the other parents in the group.

Jobs list:

• Pressure Clean inside the toilets to remove smoke residue
• Remove any gear dumped in the toilets into the Q-store
• Clean the toilets
• Clean up the covered area
• Clean roof and gutters
• Remove leaf litter in grounds
• Q store – clean & tidy up as best we can……(more storage in the form of shipping containers is coming but wont be there for the weekend)
• Clean concrete under cover area

Equipment needed: 

• Many hands
• Pressure Cleaners
• Cleaning equipment for the toilets
• Leaf rakes
• Gloves – yard / cleaning
• Leaf blowers
• Ladder to access roof
• Trailers to take stuff to the dump
• Mop’s bucket

Obviously we lost a lot of cleaning equipment in the fire so if you pick a job off the list above for your self and bring what you need to complete the job with you we can be more productive.  We might get some double up but that means we will finish quicker!

Dress:
Sun hat, closed shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent & please bring water bottle
